To W. H. WILLS, 4 AUGUST 1853*

MS Huntington Library.

Boulogne | Fourth August 1853. | Thursday Evening

My Dear Wills

I send a hasty line to say that your parcel arrived safely today, but had no letter from you in it. It does not appear, from the contents of the parcel, that any such letter was necessary, or supposed to be there. But I send this, in case of any omission.
