Title page
The cover, title, editor(s), and bibliographical information are at the top of the page.
Table of contents
The table of contents is a list of the sections in the book.
To toggle between viewing and hiding a section’s contents click the [+]/[-] button next to a work title. (To expand or collapse all headings at once, click Expand All [+] or Collapse All [-].)
To move to the text of any of the sections listed, click on it.
Moving to a specific page
To move directly to a particular page, type it into the box and click .
It is displayed on the Work page.
Downloading a specific page as a pdf of the original print edition
Type the page you want into the Page box
and click .
The pdf is displayed in your browser.
Searching within an edition
To search for a term within the current edition:
1. Type or paste the term you want to find in the Search box.
2. Click or press Enter.
3. The matching results are listed in the Results list.
4. Open any item in the usual way.
Outputting information
Printing the Edition page
To print the title page, click . A printable version is displayed in your browser which can then be printed or saved.
Saving the Edition page
To save the title page click , and follow the instructions given.
Citing the edition
Click to display a page containing a citation to the current edition. You can choose from the formats: MLA, APA, and Chicago. The citations can be cut and pasted directly into your work.
Alternatively you can export citations to personal citation management programs in the following formats: EndNote, ProCite, ReferenceManager, RefWorks, BibTex, and Zotero.
Sending an email link
To send an email link to the current title page, click . Fill in the details as appropriate. The email will contain a link to the current title page only, which will be valid for the next two weeks.
Social bookmarking
To share a link to the current edition on a social bookmarking site (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Googlemail, etc.), click and choose one of the options.
Changing text size
To switch between standard (default) and large text use the buttons.
Find in Library and Buy this Work
looks up the current book in an external library search (specified by your library administrator).
