MS Comtesse de Suzannet.

40 Albion Street Broadstairs. | September 21st. 1839.

My Dear Sir.

I commissioned Jerdan—in my anxiety that you should not escape to Paris—to tell you that I could not possibly dispense with your attendance at my Nickleby dinner. It comes off on Sunday the 5th. of October at the Albion in Aldersgate Street at 6 for half past precisely—a very few friends indeed.

  •                                    Always believe me
  •                                         Faithfully Yours
  • Thomas Hill Esquire.                         Charles Dickens
