My dear Sir,

I received last evening another link in the uninterrupted chain of the proofs of my good fortune in obtaining your consent to perform the function of Assignee in this same Bankruptcy.2 I have to thank you for the £25, which (you inform me) you have paid to my Bankers Martin and Co on my account: and before this reaches you Your Bankers Coutts and Co3 will have received the £8:6:8. you speak of as due from me to you.
