MS Free Library of Philadelphia.

48 Doughty Street. | Decr. 27th. 1838.

My Dear Sir.

I am afraid the inclosed is too exclusively musical to suit the Miscellany, although I am not the less obliged to you for your kindness in offering it. If it were mine, I should send it to "the Musical World" whose readers I should think would relish it exceedingly.2

  •                                       My Dear Sir
  •                                            Very truly Yours
  • James Hine Esquire                               Charles Dickens
