I am truly gratified by your account of the splendid result of the Benefit6 at the Surrey Theatre in behalf of the orphan children of poor Mr. Elton—and so will the committee be, I am sure, when we meet again on Monday week.

A member of the Fund Committee, and spoke the prologue by Leman Rede before the benefit at the Surrey Theatre, where he was stage-manager, on 3 Aug. Subscribed 10s on 10 Oct.
