Dr Sr

JB

Your nos of Cobbett2 were sent hither from yr house. By the opportunity of yr messenger they are now returned with thanks.

pg 215I take for granted you will not go up with the posse3 without lettg me know. One use of it wd be—the furnishing Mr A4 with an ostensible reason for doing that the real inducemt to which may be furnished by the negotiation you allude to.
