J.B. to F.P

Your High Mightiness was pleased to offer either Myers2 or Hotchkin3 to walk with me on Saturday. Wishing to see Myers, I declined seeing Hotchkin at that time of the day. But, as he has been used to worse fasting, he might perhaps be able to bring himself to fast till my dinner hour at 6: and as his abode is at Deptford, though the best spare bed I have to offer him is not a good one, he may, in the course of his travels, have met with a worse.

Let me know about this as soon as you know. On Sunday at dinner time I am otherwise engaged: on Monday, not; but I had rather it were Saturday. Remember the Buenos Ayres books.4 You are not using your Ricardo:5 you may as well lend it me.
